I met Donna in India in one of Dr. Kataria's training sessions. Because I take a group of Japanese students to India twice a year, I have met many wonderful laughter yoga professionals from all over the world—but there is something different about Donna. She isn't just friendly, cheerful, and charismatic as a teacher—she has the ability to bring everyone together as a group. All the Japanese people, even though they don't speak English, absolutely loved her because of the way she communicated and connected with them. She is a true leader who is powerful and gentle at the same time, and I am sure that she would bring a natural smile/laughter out of anyone.

Culmination of Laughter Yoga session

“On December 11, 2018, a group of 9 of our Engage volunteers (aged 55+) gathered at the Shames JCC to do one of Donna’s Laughter Yoga programs. None of the volunteers knew quite what to expect, as they had never heard of Laughter Yoga. But Donna enthusiastically explained the history and the benefits. And soon, all of us were standing, interacting with one another, and laughing as Donna suggested new laughter yoga activities. It was wonderful to see everyone having such a good time!
